Using AI Translation

Click the purple "AI Translate" button in the top toolbar to open the translation interface.

Configure your translation settings

Translation Settings

Source & Target Language

Select the language to translate from and to.

Sample Line

Choose longest, random, or sequence for preview.

Optional Style Prompt

Specify translation tone (e.g., "natural spoken Greek", "formal theatrical style", "modern conversational"). Click "Preview style prompt" to test.

Translation Mode
  • Translate all empty lines
  • Force overwrite – Replace all existing translations
  • Google translation (non-AI)

Translation Options

  • Skip stage directions – When checked, the AI will not translate rows marked as "Stage Direction". This is useful if you only want to translate dialogue and keep stage directions in the original language.
  • Force overwrite – When checked, the AI will re-translate all lines, even if they already have translations.

Start Translation

After configuring:

  1. Review the sample translation preview
  2. Check the credit cost estimation
  3. Click "Translate" to begin

Processing time: 3–5 minutes depending on script length.
