Sign in, sync, and open a show

Find deployed shows, save more than one on this Mac, and open the right version.

Sign in and the show list

Purpose: Sign in, sync or choose a local show version, and open either the live console or QLab preparation page.

Before you begin: The cloud show list and Sync require internet access and a valid account session in Pockitle Cue for Mac. Local operation requires a synced show that is still valid, plus valid ASM unlock credentials.

How to open this page: Launch Pockitle Cue for Mac. To use the cloud list, select Sign in, finish sign-in in your system browser, and return to the App. If you are already in a show, select Back to shows.

Browser sign-in, Refresh projects, and account status

  1. Select Sign in on the home screen. Sign in through the browser, then return to Pockitle Cue for Mac. If it does not return automatically, switch back to Pockitle Cue for Mac and wait for the account status to update.
  2. Select Refresh projects to reload the finalized shows you can access. Undeployed Editor projects are not available as shows here.
  3. Check the account status. Connected allows cloud actions. Expired means you need to sign in again. Offline, a synced show may still unlock locally, but you cannot Sync or refresh the cloud list.
  4. Before signing out, end the show and close all projection windows. Then select Sign out. Sign out removes the Pockitle Cue account session and disconnects phone control. It is different from End Show and from leaving the show list.

Sync, open a show, and Go Live do different things

  • Sync to this Mac downloads and verifies show data. You can keep several synced shows on the Mac; syncing another show does not replace the show currently open.
  • Open Live Console opens a show and requests ASM unlock. It does not start the performance.
  • Go Live starts the show. It does not download a newer version for you.
  • Prepare cues for QLab opens the cue selection and QLab preparation page. It is not Go Live and does not mean any cue has played.

Ready, updates, and multiple shows

  • Ready means a usable version is on this Mac. If the list says an update is needed, Sync and check the show name and version. The list may show Expires; offline unlock also requires valid local credentials, so check the expiry shown in the app.
  • You can download an update during a Live show. A completed download means the new package is available; it does not switch the currently open show. End the show, close its projection windows, return to the list, and explicitly select Open new version.
  • If Open new version is unavailable or an update is still pending, keep the current working version. Do not sign out or clear local show data; sync or open the update later when safe.

Expected result and audience impact: Refresh projects reloads the cloud list; Sync to this Mac downloads a version; opening creates a local Console; only Go Live affects the performance. These are separate states.

If something goes wrong: If the list is empty, select Refresh projects and check the account and deployment access. An undeployed project is not a Sync failure.
