PPockitle Live
P.3 Operate and Recover Pockitle Live
Start, pause, resume, monitor independent language lanes, and end without replaying stale captions.
Start and monitor
- Confirm the tested input, Audience URL, projector output, and estimated remaining time.
- Select
Start listening. The remaining-time display becomes authoritative after reservation succeeds. - Verify the source caption first, then each selected translated output independently.
- Watch explicit lane health; do not treat a missing target as a reason to delay the source.
The browser captures audio and monitors the Run. Accepted captions are delivered server-to-server; the browser is not the caption publication authority.
Pause, resume, and recovery
- Pause before changing the stage-audio route or capture device.
- Resume starts from current audio with a new publisher generation.
- Old audio and stale captions are never replayed after recovery.
- A failed target lane may recover for later speech without blocking healthy outputs.
- Use prepared manual buttons such as [Applause], [Door opens], or a saved custom message.
- Opening Projection or cancelling End must leave the Run operable when you return.
Live free-text correction is not the normal theatre workflow. Do not plan on typing or approving each spoken caption during a performance.
End, Summary, and Restart
Pause listening before using End performance. End affects only the current Run: it turns off Audience access, clears current captions, closes capture and provider work, and begins final credit and transcript settlement. Summary records the listening time and Start, Pause, Resume, and End timeline. Restart keeps the Show settings and Audience URL but creates a new Run and requires a new credit confirmation and Stage Input test.
